The 19th Annual Civil War Days are coming to Huntington Sept. 1 & 2

Commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the War Between the States 

The Huntington Beach Historical Society will sponsor the Reenactment in Huntington Beach Central Park on September 1 and 2 on Gothard Street between Slater and Talbert. 

Battle Times are Saturday, 1:30 and 4:00 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The event is open and free to the public. 

Schedule:

Saturday: Camp opens to the public at 10AM, First battle at 1:30 PM, Living History Weapons Demonstration at 2:30 PM, Second Battle at 4 PM, President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address with Band Serenade at 5PM, Twilight Concert 5:30PM, Evening Reenactor Dance 7:00PM.

Sunday: Church services at 9AM, Camp opens to the public at 10AM, First battle at 11:00 AM, Living History Weapons Demonstration at 12 PM, Second Battle at 2PM. 
  • President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address daily - 15 min after each battle 
  • Pass and Review Parade to follow the first battle on Saturday and the last battle on Sunday
