Were you there? On Saturday, June 23rd, Vizo presented a free celebration event at the new Wahoo’s! Founding members of the Dirty Heads staying true to their Huntington Beach local origins, came down to the new HB Wahoo’s grand opening to help celebrate it right with the release of their new album “Cabin by the Sea”. Over 2,000 people along with local vendors such as Quiksilver and Signal Snowboards made the new Warner location known.
Huntington Beach Mayor Don Hansen came on down to show his approval and support and kick off the event with one of the founding brothers, Wing Lam. And according to Tom Orbe, Wahoo Fish Taco Vice President, the community and neighborhood were appreciative and excited supporting this great event. Warner’s Wahoo location owner said it was one of the coolest events she has ever been involved in!
Check out some great pics of the grand opening celebration. And don’t worry. If you missed the event, Wahoo’s on Warner is here to stay so come on by for some great tacos and take advantage of the Vizio 3D bar at 7891 Warner Avenue. Keeping up with Wahoo’s website is worth it to be in the know on upcoming events and weekly drawings. Check out: http://wahoos.com
And The Dirty Heads? They’ll be back around this area soon playing at the OC Fair with Steel Pulse on July 27th. For more information about the Dirty Heads band go on to: http://www.dirtyheads.com/
