Mike Grumet Insurance Services, Inc., was honored by Assemblyman Jim Silva Wednesday, May 28, as this years' Small Business of the Year for the 67th Assembly District. In a ceremony hosted by the California Small Business Association.
"I am pleased to present this prestigious award to Mike Grumet, founder of Mike Grumet Insurance Services," Silva proclaimed. "Not only has Mike built a business that has helped secure the lives of hundreds of people, but he is also a dedicated community volunteer who has helped raise thousands of dollars for various organizations in Orange County, " he continued.
Mike is no stranger to the Huntington Beach business community, as his achievements in business as well as volunteerism has made him both a success and mentor to many seeking marketing goals and personal freedom.
In fact, Mike is the only person in the HB Chamber's 100-year history to be honored with the Member of the Year and the Ambassador of the Year Award both in the same year (2002).
He is the current Chairman of the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, as well as the first interview featured on the new HBCOOL.COM.
