Finally, a new chapter has begun for this veteran retailer. Since 1964, General Store has provided that unique and fun gift-giving experience to thousands of southern California residents. Its new home at 5 Points (next to Trader Joe's) seems to be that perfect fit! Look for a grand opening around July 11, and a Chamber ribbon cutting the day before, July 10 at 4:30pm.
The synergy between General Store's merchandising guru Cherie Combest, and the progressive marketing machinery of 5 Points, under the leadership of Maureen Sloan-James, should prove productive for the Plaza.
