Mixing Chocolate and Art is always a good idea.

This Sunday, June 10, the Huntington Beach Art Center presents ‘The Art of Chocolate,’ from 2 to 5 p.m.,  featuring Executive Pastry Chef, Jean-Marie Verhoeven from Pechanga Resort & Casino.  The Art Center is at 538 Main Street in Huntington.

Jean-Marie will present a live demonstration on the art of chocolate making and will create a showpiece.  There will be other vendors offering chocolate, wine and other treats too. Tickets are $25 members / $35 general public / $50 VIP (only 10 tickets available and includes seating on the stage and demonstration participation with the chef).

With severe budget cuts, the Huntington Beach Art Center is doing all that they can to offset the costs of programs and exhibitions. The HBAC  is a community arts and cultural center presenting exhibitions, performances, film/video screenings, lectures and educational programming and creating opportunities for local, regional and national artists.
