PANEL ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
One in four women has experienced Domestic Violence in her lifetime*

Who:
Soroptimist International of Huntington Beach, a volunteer service organization for business and professional women, is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.

What:
Our April program will consist of a panel presentation comprised of representatives from organizations in Orange County who are working to assist victims and provide servcies to those who are affected by domestic violence in Orange County.

When:
Thursday evening, April 28 at 6:00pm.

Where:
The Claim Jumper Restaurant’s media room, with a separate entrance facing Talbert Avenue, where it meets Brookhurst Street in Fountain Valley.

Our program meetings are open to the public. RSVP to reserve your space now for $20.00, or you can pay $25.00 at the door.

At this month’s program meeting, Janine Limas, from Interval House and Detective
Phil Gasca from the Huntington Beach Police Department will be our presenters.

Join us to hear testimony from domestic abuse survivors and what we can do to end domestic violence in our community. Lets continue our efforts to work together to inspire others to reach out and get involved!

Soroptimists of Huntington Beach members have been serving our community and surrounding areas for over 47 years. Founded in 1927, its members number over 95,000 women in over 120 countries worldwide. It is the only non government organization with a seat at the United Nations.
