The bigger question that's been circulating, is that of the health of Chamber pres Perry Cain. His last surgery a couple of days ago was a success, and now he returns to rehab for an uncertain release date....but it's coming very soon. The reset of June 4 was placed in play with host GWC from Perry himself.
The cool thing here for all paid participants, the fee will obviously be applied to the new date. A refund is possible if someone can't make the rescheduled time. www.hbcoc.com
But who will miss this Planning Conference now? Not too many. The chairman, Dennis Gallagher (HERITAGE MEMORIAL) has been putting in double-time, as he works closely with the #2 Michelle Moberly while running his own business with super-networker wife Linda Gallagher (2009 Women of Distinction Award winner).
As one observer puts it, "The Chamber hasn't seen this much activity for quite sometime." Staff changes, new site for Conference (GWC), new logo (ABOVE)...newer website in development...and a larger focus on the Chamber's own branding in the coming months are examples of a chamber on the move.
