Back In Business

Local businessman Frank Tahvildari knows a good investment when he sees one. “I’ve been in the restaurant business for 38 years,” he reveals. For his newest venture, Tahvildari just re-opened the doors to Vittorio’s Restaurant, a long-time favorite with Huntington Beach locals that had been closed for 10 months. Located at 5921 Warner Avenue, Vittorio’s (which was first opened in 1969) will have an “updated décor” and will look “brighter,” says Tahvildari, who ads that not everything will change. The food will still be great! With some of the original chefs back, the owner says that patrons who yen for Old World Italian cuisine can still expect some great specialties on the menu like osso bucco and chicken and veal marsala. Open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. seven nights a week, Vittorio’s also still features a cozy bar and an updated wine list. Might live entertainment soon be in store? Tahvildari (who also owns the popular Tumbleweeds Bar & Grill in Huntington Beach and Primrose in Seal Beach) laughs, “Maybe. We can’t give all of the surprises away!”
