How it was best described by a reliable source, PERQS was sold in two pieces. First, the business itself was sold off to the so-called "silent investors" of PERQS of all these years. Next, the building. The historic structure was sold to the owners of JACKS SURFBOARDS -- who owns a bit of Main Street already, ya' know. But what do ya' really know? It seems there's a mystery cloud surrounding the sales, as well as what might happen to the building itself. Some say, plow it down and make a more convenient access point to The Strand. Other die-hard locals obviously want PERQS to be, well, PERQS.
