Old World Hosts Major Multi-Chamber Mixer!

Chambers: Huntington Beach, Westminster, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and Seal Beach made up a huge mixer August 27 at Old World. Over 150 tables, with business categories that ranged from hospitality to marketing. Pro business advocate and US Congressman, Dana Rohrabacher was also on hand.

Hats off goes to Pam Alagata of Old World, who pulled the event off almost by herself! A great timing advantage for Old World as well, as Oktoberfest begins in one week, Sunday, September 6 with the TRC benefit.

This reporter, who doubled as the emcee, felt an event filled with successful recession-proof individuals who continually reinforced the ideals behind the relationship between strong Chamber participation, and a stronger, healthier economy. It was all there.
