One of the longest-running independently owned gift retailers in HB, General Store, has made the successful switch from its original home at Bella Terra to 5 Points...with lots of new merchandise. Since the demise of Party America at 5 Points, General Store picked up the slack, and now is offering balloons...lots of balloons to fill the void. Additionally, the popular Centennial Coins are now featured at General Store. So, with Father's Day right around the corner and GRADS making their annual trek down the diploma avenue, General Store is set with the ambiance and Centennial merchandise that is perfect for the gift in mind.
BUT -- THE NEWS IS ABOUT JACK AND CHERIE'S OTHER ACE IN THE HOLE, SON JONATHAN COMBEST. He along with his Huntington Beach High School Oiler Baseball teammates will go for the CIF Championship Saturday afternoon at Angel Stadium!
We don't know if the team has plans upon winning to do an autograph party at Mom & Dad's store or not -- since many celebrities have done so (the latest, author Chris Epting), but in anyway, the Oiler merchandise is proudly selling to support the TEAM!
The veteran owners, Jack & Cherie Combest has been away on many game days supporting Jonathan, leaving many of the duties to Chris, the store manager, to oversee their own team of retail associates.
PLAY BALL!
