This weekend was the Nike 6.0 Pier Pressure Men's Junior Pro Surf Competition (try saying that six times fast), held on the south side of the pier. Sponsored by Nike, Hurley and Jack's Surf Shop, this competition offered spectators a great chance to watch some younger surf talent at work. The competition continues today, Monday June 29, from early morning to 2pm, so if you didn't catch it on Sunday, you still have time to check it out.
