Give credit where credit is due! Duke's recently closed out its final Big Wednesday June 18, benefitting SurfAid International and The Orange County Coastkeepers. Duke's special events coordinator, Sarah Long mastered this past season the art of the microphone and being a natural PR queen, who knows how to make it all go well. What originally started out as Brett Barne's (Duke's general manager and partner) attempt to assist with raising money for Edison High School, turned out to be an early summertime happening with all raffle money and dollars going to support the coastal concerns of many. A great tie-in for Duke's! Wednesdays fit because well, Tuesdays in Downtown HB are well..Surf City Nights...and Thursdays begin to feed into the weekend. Aloha Big Wednesdays until next year...
