It was an earlier time when Alex and his Apple A Peel would hold some of the most amazing Greek nights ever in HB...well, when someone comes along and writes a bid check...you would be a fool not to take it. Alex took it, and Apple A Peel (south of Edinger on Springdale) went from riches to a consortium of different business types, including, at the end, Pizza Time Buffet...seen here burned to a crisp a few months back. Arson? Insurance? Who knows. But one thing is certain, the days of the Old Apple A Peel Restaurant had the mark of yet another true Huntington Beach landmark. What will be next in this vacant space now?
