You might remember back in the day.... Rosalyn's? This family-style restaurant was the staple for casual dining for years on Edinger. Then, Benny sold it or just went out of business...then the incarnations started, as 7402 Edinger became another Mexican restaurant (remember the Mariachis all the time??)...then...nothing...then...the fish guy made his mark and many thought the old Rosalyn's (originally named after Benny's daughter) had found a long term friend. But no. We are now back with Mexican food. "La Choza" opened softly recently, and is billing itself with the "Homemade Tortillas" and th whole nine yards. What will be their plan of attack in the marketplace...with Mexican food almost dominated by the majors in Surf City?
