Yes, there were the usual puns flying around at last week's Rainbow Disposal's 50th Anniversary. You know, "I don't want to to be talking trash now or anything," commented by one influential member of the community. The glimpse inside Rainbow was what one needed to witness the massive amounts of investment in the new technologies needed to convert to automatic trash pick up (also made part of the celebration). But hats off to Chairman Ron Shenkman (pictured) for steering the the Rainbow boat into the much needed future of waste management....the A list was there...the B list was there...and the C list was there! In fact the event June 7 was so well attended, that the tent was serioulsy standing room only. Bruce Shuman, CEO, additionally assisted with microphone duties. A class act at Rainbow.
