The FREE Entertainment Book...Remember?

After years of offering FREE ads to retail businesses, the Entertainment Book is now charging for ads. The book, that normally sells anywhere from $19 - $45, has always boasted a wealth of maily BOGO offers (buy one, get one free) from fast food to nicer restaurants (many other categories are also found) because they gave away the space. It's going to be interesting to see if the ad rates of $300 to remain the same, and up to $850 for "whatever you want in your ad," still brings the quantity of content they've enjoyed in the past. The very active, charitable-approach, has been very successful over the many years for Entertainment, but with the cost of printing going up (including mailing, right), this might have been the best time to turn on the other opportunity of revenue, which for now, has been a major source of advertising for many smaller businesses.
